Watercolour painting workshop at Create Space Wales, near Cardigan, Ceredigion.
 
10am-12pm on the 12th March 2026
 
The theme of the workshop is the arrival of spring and the Celtic Goddess Brigid.
During the two hour workshop participants will learn about working with painting in watercolours to create their own circular springtime painting, inspired by symbols of Brigid such as pieces of birch, hawthorn, spring flowers and plants that will be provided.
 
Session Structure:
15 mins intro, experimenting with different watercolour brushes, playing with paint colour mixing
15 mins making a small  painting from a single flower, leaf, branch etc, to get used to layering paints 
15 mins choosing an arrangement for their painting and drawing out in pencil their design
1hr 15 mins creating their final painting 
 
 
All the materials are provided, paper/paint/brushes etc for the session.
